It couldn't have been a more perfect summer day! There was a nice breeze and beautiful blue skies to go along with their blue theme! Their wedding ceremony and reception was held at Chapel Road Retreat in Andrews, Indiana. Taylor and Tyler's wedding was the first wedding they hosted there and it was perfect. The ceremony site was beautiful. The reception room fit their many guests with room to spare with a gorgeous handmade chandelier hanging in the middle of the room.

When I met up with Taylor, she was having a wonderful time with her bridesmaids. They all had cute matching robes on which made for great pictures. Taylor's wedding dress was beautiful! She looked perfect in it. Her mom was there to help her with the dress and veil. We went outside so Taylor could see her dad for the first time. It was such a wonderful moment. These were some of my favorite pictures from their day! We finished the bridesmaid pictures and the groomsmen pictures before the ceremony started.

Taylor was walked down the aisle by her dad and the smile on Tyler's face when he first saw his bride was so sweet. They shared many laughs during the ceremony. I loved that about these two. I can tell they have so much fun together and that was shown throughout their whole day! After the ceremony we captured pictures of the bridal party and family. We decided to walk out to an open field with wildflowers for pictures of the two of them. It was a beautiful location! The sun was starting to set so those pictures had a nice golden glow about them.

Their guests enjoyed dinner while they were introduced in to the reception site. Taylor wore the cutest jean jacket with Mrs. Roush on the back over her wedding dress. Their best man and maid of honor shared great stories about Tyler and Taylor. After dinner the dancing started. One of my favorite parts from the reception was Taylor dancing with her dad. They started with a slow song that cut into Gangman Style. It was so fun!! The whole place was clapping along. It was such a wonderful reception. The whole day was absolutely perfect! Enjoy the many many pictures from their day!

I wish you both many many years of happiness together!

Mr. and Mrs. Nathan and Megan Hahn {December 14, 2019} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2020/1/mr-and-mrs-nathan-and-megan-hahn-december-14-2019  Nathan and Megan are such a sweet couple! I met them for their engagement session back in August. They had recently got engaged and knew they didn't want a long engagement. I loved that! When you know...you know! They had decided on a December/Christmas wedding. Christmas is such a beautiful time to get married! They picked Noblesville United Methodist Church for their ceremony and Plum Creek Golf Club in Carmel for their reception. Both were decorated beautifully for Christmas so they barely had to decorate!

Megan had her day all planned out. When I showed up she was finishing her makeup. Shortly after, she put on her dress. Her mom helped her and the lighting from the round window was absolutely breathtaking! These were some of my favorite pictures of the day! After Megan was in her beautiful dress she did a reveal with her bridesmaids. They all were so happy for her and talked of how beautiful she looked in her dress!

When I met with Megan and her mom to talk over the wedding day a few months ago, we talked about lighting. In December the sun sets very early in the day (5:30ish). We knew if her and Nathan wanted some good pictures outside together they would have to see each other before the ceremony. They were completely on board with doing a reveal before the ceremony. I am so glad they did! Their pictures together at Plum Creek Golf Club were perfect! This venue was made for a December wedding! There are really neat black lanterns outside where we took pictures on the deck that added to the Christmas feel!

After pictures at the golf club the bridal party headed in to their limo to drive to the church! At the church we finished getting some family pictures before the ceremony started. Megan was so beautiful walking down the aisle at the church! The church had poinsettias lining the sanctuary and a big Christmas tree as well. It made for a gorgeous ceremony! After they said I do and were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Hahn, their guests waved glow sticks as they exited the church! It was so fun!

Everyone was having a blast at the reception! My favorite part from the reception was of Megan's niece singing to baby shark for everyone! It was so cute!! Nathan and Megan's first dance was so sweet! He had her twirling on the dance floor. After the cake cutting the dance floor opened! They had all their guest come out to the dance floor for a big group picture. Many stuck around to start dancing afterward!

What a fun and beautiful day it was! Nathan and Megan have done a lot the past month including buying their first house! I'm so excited for them and excited to share so many amazing pictures from their wedding day! Enjoy!!

I wish you both many many wonderful years (and Christmases) together!

Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel and Natalie Connor {10/5/19} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2019/10/mr-and-mrs-gabriel-and-natalie-connor-10/5/19 Natalie and Gabriel had a beautiful first Saturday in October for their wedding! The sun was shining all day and some of the trees were just starting to show their fall colors. They picked Zionsville Fellowship Church for their ceremony. This is such a beautiful church inside and the grounds around the church were beautiful for pictures! Their reception was held at Woodland Country Club in Carmel. This venue is one of my favorites. It looks out to a beautiful pond on the golf course!

I met up with Natalie and her bridesmaids at the church. They were all getting the last of their hair and make-up finish. I loved the robes Natalie picked for them! After all the bridesmaids had their dresses on, they headed into the hallway to wait for Natalie. One of my favorite pictures from the day was of Natalie holding her wedding dress before she put it on. Natalie and her mom enjoyed the moments just the two of them while Natalie put on her wedding dress. Natalie wanted to do a first look with all her bridesmaids. This picture was also a favorite of mine (let's be honest there were a ton of favorites and the reason this blog post is extra long haha). Her bridesmaids were all smiling and a few were crying after seeing Natalie in her beautiful wedding dress. It was a wonderful moment from their day!

After her bridesmaids saw her, she walked down to the sanctuary for her first look with her dad. What I loved most about their day was the importance of their family. Natalie and her parents had a moment just the three of them and they shared such sweet words together.

It was then time for Natalie to have her first look with Gabriel. He was in the courtyard waiting for her. During the first look, I loved seeing the look on their faces and the craziness of the morning just melt away. They were talking and laughing while I captured it all. At one point Gabriel turned toward me and asked if they should be posing haha. They were so into the moment together. Those are the pictures I love to capture most!

During their ceremony they had both of their fathers share advice and share their love for them. It is wonderful to see a couple come from wonderful loving homes with lasting marriages. The vows they wrote to each other were so heartfelt. I will always remember the ending to Gabriel's vows to Natalie. He said he was looking forward to spending life with her here on Earth and for eternity in Heaven as well! They shared their first kiss as husband and wife and everyone cheered! They left the church with a bubble send off!

When we got to Woodland Country Club we took some more pictures of the bride and groom. These pictures were beautiful! What a gorgeous fall evening! They got announced at the reception and shared their first dance. I loved hearing each family's speeches. There were many family members who traveled far for this wedding. It meant a lot to the families and the couple. The dancing started and the whole floor was filled with their guests. What a perfect ending to their perfect day! Enjoy many pictures from their wedding!

I wish you both many many years of happiness together!

Mr. and Mrs. Corey and Erika Beck {October 4, 2019} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2019/10/mr-and-mrs-corey-and-erika-beck-october-4-2019    Corey and Erika had a perfect fall wedding day! Literally the day before it was 90 degrees. Over night (thanks Indiana) the temperatures dropped and it ended up being a beautiful 65 degrees. Let me tell you, this is the temperature where the bridal party and the bride and groom aren't cold or hot. It really is the perfect wedding day temperature!

I met up with Erika and her bridesmaids at The Whittaker Inn. Erika was telling me all about this inn before the wedding. It is such a beautiful setting and I loved all the Purdue and Indiana decorations. She was getting her hair done when I arrived. I loved when it was finished because everyone was saying how great it looked and she was just beaming! Some of my favorite pictures were of Erika and her Momma getting Erika in to her wedding dress. Erika was holding back tears when she was finally in her dress. She looked absolutely beautiful! Her dress was gorgeous!

After she was all ready we headed over for her first look with Corey out on the 50 yard line of Ross Ade Stadium. It was the coolest thing I have done on a wedding day! Corey had one request about their first look. He wanted to turn around and watch her walk toward him. I loved this! It was as though she was walking down the aisle to him. They had quite a few laughs together during the first look. Before Corey even saw her in her wedding dress, he had described what he thought it would look like. Erika said he literally described the dress she had bought without seeing it! That is a man who knows his bride! I loved this story! After their first look, the bridal party came on to the field for pictures. They all were having a great time together!

We then went to the Purdue campus to take some more pictures. It was a Friday wedding so there were many students out walking in between classes. People were congratulating the bride and groom. It was so fun! After we took some more pictures we headed over to the ceremony site at Kossouth Street Baptist Church. It was a beautiful ceremony. I loved that they added in a worship song to their ceremony and had a bubble send off at the end!

Their reception was held at Ross Ade Stadium. They had so many guests who enjoyed the evening with them. They had a pasta bar! Who doesn't love that!? It was a perfect day! Enjoy the many pictures from their wedding day!

Congrats again you two! I wish you many many happy years together!!

Gabriel and Natalie Engagement Session https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2019/10/gabriel-and-natalie-engagement-session Gabriel and Natalie had their engagement session in downtown Noblesville and it was a perfect fit for them! We met for their session in late November and the weather ended up not being too cold. These two are so photogenic together! They had each other laughing throughout the session. I had quite a few favorites but I wanted to share a few below. I am so excited for their wedding on Saturday! Watch for some sneak peeks from their day!

Corey and Erika Engagement Session https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2019/10/corey-and-erika-engagement-session Corey and Erika met with me at a Starbucks back in March. They basically didn't have a set date for their wedding but wanted to meet with me anyway to make sure they could book me as their photographer. I loved this so much! If you are dead set on who you want your vendor to be, don't wait! After I met with them, they set their wedding date for Friday, October 4th. I was so excited to work with these two. Erika is so fun and down to earth! We decided to do their engagement session at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel back in March. It was a beautiful early spring day! The weather couldn't have been better! Enjoy the pictures form their engagement session! I am beyond excited to capture their wedding on Friday in West Lafayette at Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium! Be watching for sneak peeks!

Mr. and Mrs. Blake and Jennifer Baldwin {June 1, 2019} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2019/6/mr-and-mrs-blake-and-jennifer-baldwin-june-1-2019  Blake and Jennifer had a beautiful wedding day! Their wedding was completely about them, their family and close friends, and their love. They got engaged under a lamp post in Garfield Park in Indianapolis. This is the location they decided for their ceremony! I loved that! The reception was held at downtown bar called Repeal.

I met up with Jennifer and her family at her house. It is such a cute house and perfect for getting ready pictures. One of my favorite pictures I captured was of her dress hanging in front of the many games Blake and Jennifer love playing together! Jennifer's wedding dress was a short dress. It was perfect on her!

After she was done getting ready, Blake stood in front of their front door waiting to see his bride for their first look. Blake is so sweet and shed many tears throughout the day. This was one of those moments after he saw his beautiful bride! After they saw each other we took their bikes over to a small greenway that they like to ride the bikes on. We took pictures with their bikes and they were so fun!

Their ceremony was beautiful. Blake couldn't hold back tears as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. They each wrote their own vows to each other. My favorite part about their ceremony was when they passed around the rings for all their guests to bless before they exchanged them!

After the ceremony, we headed over to the reception! I loved the bar they picked! Their guests enjoyed dinner and drinks. Blake and Jennifer learned a dance for their first dance. It was so fun for everyone to watch as they twirled around on the dance floor. It was such a great day! Enjoy many more pictures from the day below!

I wish you two many many years of happiness together!

Mr. and Mrs. Kyle and Ally Dinn May 25th, 2019 https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2019/6/mr-and-mrs-kyle-and-ally-dinn-may-25th-2019       Kyle and Ally had such a beautiful day for their outdoor wedding! Their ceremony and reception was held at O-Ace-Is just outside of Kokomo in Bunker Hill. This venue is still one of my favorites! It has a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. It was raining as I drove to their venue. When I arrived it was sunny skies the rest of the evening! It was a beautiful day! Kyle and Ally decided to wait to see each other until Ally walked down the aisle. While we waited for the ceremony to start, we got wonderful pictures of the groomsmen and the groom. They were having such a blast together. We also took many of the bridesmaids and bride. They also were having a wonderful time laughing and enjoying the day. I really feel like this showed what great people Kyle and Ally are. They have such a great bond with their friends and their families. Ally's little brothers and little sister stole the show during the day. They were so fun!

Their ceremony was perfect. Ally's uncle talked about how Kyle and Ally met way back in their school years. It had their guests laughing! Right after the ceremony we took pictures for the families, the bridal party, and of course Kyle and Ally. Ally's wedding dress was stunning. I loved the pictures we got of the back of it with Kyle standing by her. It was like the dress was made just for her! After pictures everyone headed into the tent for dinner. I loved hearing the toasts from the best man and the maid of honor. Ally and her Dad shared tears as they danced their father/daughter dance. Then Kyle and his mom shared their mother/son dance with laughs together. It was such a beautiful day! Enjoy many pictures of their day below!

I wish you both many years of love and laughter!

Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and Brooke Phillis (May 11, 2019) https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2019/5/mr-and-mrs-ryan-and-brooke-phillis-may-11-2019       Ryan and Brooke picked Morgan Acres for their venue in Indianapolis. It is a beautiful barn venue! I met up with Brooke and her bridesmaids at the barn as they were getting ready for the day. They all had on cute robes while they were getting their hair and makeup completed. The forecast was calling for rain later in the day. We were all starting to worry about outside pictures directly after the outdoor ceremony. Ryan was dead set on waiting to see his bride for the first time walking down the aisle instead of seeing her before the ceremony. When rain was in the forecast from right after the ceremony and through the end of the reception, Ryan was asked if he would be up for seeing her before the ceremony. He said he knew Brooke really loved the outdoor pictures so he would be up for seeing her before because those meant a lot to her. After hearing this, Brooke decided to still wait to see him when she walked down the aisle. Both of them were already sacrificing what they wanted to respect the other's wishes for their wedding day. What a beautiful display of what love is about.

They had a special moment of reading letters to each other behind the ceremony door instead of seeing each other before the ceremony. It was amazing to watch each of their reactions to the letters they wrote. Ryan shed tears when he saw his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. I loved how these two also wrote their own vows that they read during the ceremony to each other. Brooke decided she wanted to do a bubble send off right after the ceremony. We decided to have this happen as they walked back down the aisle to start family pictures. It was so fun! All their guests enjoyed being apart of that fun "send off" to the reception. After the bubble send off, we took family pictures. It started to rain a little right at the end of the pictures. We used a clear umbrella for pictures of the two of them. These were some of my favorite pictures of the day! After pictures, the reception started! I loved that Ryan and Brooke laughed so much together throughout the day and the reception was full of laughter and dancing. It made for such a fun time with all their guests! Enjoy many many more pictures from their beautiful day below!

I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!! I am so happy I got to capture this day for you!

Mr. and Mrs. Joshua and Catherine Stringfellow {July 21, 2018} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2018/8/mr-and-mrs-joshua-and-catherine-stringfellow-july-21-2018 Joshua and Catherine had a beautiful wedding day! It rained off and on but that allowed the temperatures to stay below 80 which is amazing for a late July wedding! I love weddings where I know so many people! Catherine and I grew up a street over from each other and were in musicals and choir together. I also shot her sister's wedding two years ago in December AND her friend, Joan's wedding on the 7th of July.

Catherine's wedding dress was just perfect for her. I love that she wore a purple sash to match the bridesmaid's dresses. She looked so beautiful! After the ladies were ready they headed over to the church. I met up with the groomsmen for some pictures. They were having a great time!

The ceremony was so sweet! There were a few laughs throughout which you can tell it totally them! After the ceremony we took some pictures with their family. I literally laughed throughout taking pictures. It made the pictures so enjoyable for everyone! I loved how much fun everyone was having!

Their reception was at Arborwood in Frankfort. It never disappoints! The flowers outside were beautiful and the food was amazing! They picked cupcakes that had different jelly fillings! They were amazing!! Everyone enjoyed dancing and having a great time! What a great day it was! Enjoy many more pictures from their day!

I wish you both many amazing years together and many many more laughs!

Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and Joan Marsh {July 7, 2018} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2018/7/mr-and-mrs-ryan-and-joan-marsh-july-7-2018

Ryan and Joan had a beautiful July day for a wedding! After a week of 90s, it barely hit 80 on their wedding. They had their ceremony and reception at Signature Banquets in Lowell, Indiana. It was a big venue with plenty of room for their many family and friends! I met up with Joan as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. They all were having a blast together. Joan put on her dress with the help of her mother. Her dress was one of the most beautiful wedding dresses I have seen! It was so happy Ryan and Joan saw each other before their ceremony. It was such a sweet moment! These were some of my favorite pictures of the day! They each got a little teary eyed. We took some pictures inside with their families and friends before the ceremony started. During their ceremony Ryan's brother faked out the couple by giving them super huge fake ring instead of the actual ring. The entire room was cracking up! It was so fun! At the end of the ceremony they sharing in joining sand as they joined their new family with the two kids. It was so sweet!

I loved all the details that went in to the decorations on the tables and throughout the venue! They had a popcorn bar featuring a ton of different types of popcorn! It was so good and a huge hit at the reception! The couple started by cutting the cake. After a delicious dinner they played the shoe game. It is always fun to watch! They went into their first dance and special dances. Then the dance floor was packed with everyone dancing. It was such a great day! Enjoy the many pictures from their day!

I wish you both many many years of happiness!

Mr. and Mrs. Ben and Cassie Newby {June 3, 2018} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2018/6/mr-and-mrs-ben-and-cassie-newby-june-3-2018 Well where do I start in talking about my little cousin's wedding!? Cassie and I have grown up together. Our moms are sisters and we have always been close cousins. I loved watching her become a mommy to Ella and Rosalie! And I loved being able to capture these beautiful wedding memories as well!

Ben and Cassie picked a beautiful venue...The Sycamore at Mallow Run Winery! I met up with Cassie as she was getting ready for the day. Her girlies were close by watching. She had help getting into her dress from her sisters and her mom. Cassie decide to do a first look with Ben in the vineyard. It was absolutely perfect! These were some of my favorite pictures of the day. After they took a few pictures together they headed back up to wait for the ceremony to start.

To start the ceremony out...they had each of their moms walk down their daughters. It was such a sweet moment! Ben's face when he watched his girlies walk down was the sweetest! Cassie was walked down the aisle by her Dad. She looked so beautiful...and yes I was behind the camera crying like a baby haha. The ceremony was full of love and laughs. I loved how Cassie threw her flowers up in the air when he announced they were husband and wife!

We took family pictures and bridal pictures directly after the wedding. Ben and Cassie picked out such beautiful colors for their flowers and bridal party. They were perfect colors for a June wedding! After pictures everyone headed inside for dinner. Shortly after dinner the dancing started. I loved how all the kiddos were dancing on the dance floor (including my daughter Gwendolyn!). They all were having such a blast!

I pulled Ben and Cassie back outside when the sun was just setting. These were my favorite pictures from the whole day. The light was SO beyond beautiful and the two of them together...magic!! What a great day it was for these two! I went a little crazy on this blog and even had to decide not to add any more! I could have added so many more that I loved. Enjoy all the pictures of their beautiful beautiful day!

I'm so happy for the two of you and your sweet girlies! I know you both will share many many happy years together!

Love you!

Mr. and Mrs. Marques and Jackie Rattler {May 26, 2018} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2018/6/mr-and-mrs-marques-and-jackie-rattler-may-26-2018 There is so much I feel I could say about this wedding! What a beautiful and fun day it was! I met up with the bride and groom in their own areas of the church to keep from seeing each other. Their ceremony was at Holy Spirit at Geist Parish. It is a beautiful church! Marques and his groomsmen were getting their final touches. Jackie and her bridesmaids were getting ready as well. Jackie had help with her dress from all her bridesmaids and her mother and sister. Jackie made sure to include parts of her mother's wedding dress on her bouquet and a small piece was added to the front of her dress. She also wore her mother's veil. I loved that she added all these to share in her own wedding day. I also loved that she had her bridesmaids each put on one piece of her jewelry for the day. It was such a neat idea and something she will remember forever.

The ceremony started and Jackie walked down the aisle with her Dad. She looked so beautiful! Marques would look over at his bride throughout the ceremony. He looked at her that way the whole day! It was so sweet! After the ceremony the whole bridal party went out to the front of the church for pictures. They were all laughing and having a blast. They definitely have a great group of friends! The whole bridal party then headed to a local bar in Broad Ripple to have a few drinks before heading to the reception. We had so much fun taking pictures there! They were some of my favorites from their day!

Their reception was at The Willows in Westfield. It is not far from the Broad Ripple area. The venue just opened a huge deck right outside of their reception room. It looked out to a pond and it was so gorgeous! Their guests enjoyed hanging out there after dinner. The toasts had many people tearing up (including myself haha). You can definitely tell these two are well loved and they truly love each other so much. After their first dances everyone headed to the dance floor! Everyone had a blast dancing together. It was such a great day! I'm so happy I got to be apart of their day! Enjoy the many favorites from the wedding and congrats again to Marques and Jackie!

I wish you both many many happy and fun years together!

It was a perfect night (even if it was hot for the end of September!). The sunset was gorgeous over the water at Saxony Beach in Fishers. These two are such a blast! I can't wait for their wedding tomorrow. Their ceremony will be Holy Spirit at Geist Parish and their reception is at The Willows in Westfield. I know it will be amazing! Mr. and Mrs. Alex and Lauren Ollila {May 5, 2018} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2018/5/mr-and-mrs-alex-and-lauren-ollila-may-5-2018 Alex and Lauren had such a beautiful wedding day! It was my first time shooting a wedding at The Sycamore at Mallow Run outside of Bargersville. It did not disappoint! The grounds and the venue are just breathtaking! When I got there Lauren was just getting ready to get into her wedding dress. When she pulled it out of the bag, I was so excited! It was such a gorgeous dress and it was totally a dress I pictured her wearing.

Alex and Lauren decided to see each other before their ceremony. It was a perfect first look! I love seeing how the couple reacts to seeing each other for the first time of the day! It is such a special moment! Alex had us cracking up about how she would dance in her dress haha. The pictures of the two of them were some of my very favorites! Lauren's flowers were stunning! They just fit the venue and day perfectly! After we took some pictures of the two of them and the bridal party...we waited for the ceremony to start. Their ceremony was outside. The weather couldn't have been better for it! At the end of their ceremony all their guests blew bubbles as the bride and groom walked down the aisle. Talk about some great pictures!! I loved it and so did everyone at the ceremony!

We took family pictures while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour. It was a perfect evening to have everyone outside. When the couple entered their reception everyone cheered as they danced on to the dance floor. After dinner, the newly weds shared their first dance followed by the other special dances. Then the party really got started! There were so many people enjoying their time on the dance floor! It was such a fun and beautiful day! I am so glad I got to be apart of it! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Ollila! Enjoy looking through many amazing pictures from their wedding day!

I wish you both many many happy years together!

Mr. and Mrs. Adam and Amanda Kiesel {April 28, 2018} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2018/5/mr-and-mrs-adam-and-amanda-kiesel-april-28-2018 Adam and Amanda had a beautiful April spring day for their wedding! The trees were all starting to get leaves and many were in full bloom. Their ceremony took place at St. Louis de Montfort in Fishers, Indiana. It is a beautiful catholic church. I met up with Amanda with her bridesmaids as they were getting ready for the day. The bridesmaid's dresses were a perfect peach color for spring. Amanda and her sister had a moment just the two of them as she helped Amanda into her wedding dress.

Adam and his groomsmen were having a blast laughing and joking as they were getting ready. Amanda and Adam decided not to see each other before the ceremony. We got pictures of the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and family before the ceremony started. During the ceremony they had both sets of parents come up to the alter while they held candles. It was one of my favorite parts of the day. After the ceremony we captured many family pictures.

After pictures the bridal party got to ride in a limo together. I met them at a park down the road. The wind got a little chilly for awhile there but everyone remained in good spirits haha. Adam and Amanda took some gorgeous pictures down by the pond. They were some of my favorites from the day! After pictures the bridal party enjoyed driving around in the limo before heading to the reception. When Adam and Amanda arrived at the reception we took a few more pictures around the reception hall. There was a magnolia tree close by that they took pictures in front of. It was perfect for their April wedding!

Once they all were introduced at the reception, Adam and Amanda shared their first dance before dinner. Adam made a slide show that featured many pictures of the two of them and many of them growing up. After dinner was the father/daughter dance and the mother/son dance. Then the night took off with people dancing right away. Everyone was having a blast! Their dance floor was packed! It was such a great day! I'm so happy to share many favorites from their day below. Enjoy!!

I wish you both wonderful years together! I hope you are enjoying that honeymoon in Africa!

Alex and Lauren Engagement Session https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2018/5/alex-and-lauren-engagement-session Alex and Lauren picked an October date for their engagement session. It was raining but we decided we would brave the rain for pictures anyway. We had an umbrella and Lauren's family members help hold it up to keep them dry during pictures. Everything worked out and we got some cute ones! They even brought their doggie along for a few! I'm so excited to capture their wedding this Saturday, May 5th at The Sycamore at Mallow Run Winery! It is a beautiful venue. I can't wait! Enjoy a few favorites from their engagement session.

Adam and Amanda Engagement Session https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2018/4/adam-and-amanda-engagement-session I met up with Adam and Amanda at Potter's Bridge in Noblesville for their engagement session this past November. It was a very chilly day but these two were troopers! There had been a ton of rain so the river was up so high. We decided to go down there and take some pictures by it. The one I posted below by the river was definitely one of my favorites from the shoot! These two were laughing and enjoying each's company the whole session. I am so excited to capture their wedding tomorrow in Fishers! Be watching for sneak peeks and their blog post from their wedding day! Enjoy a few favorites from their engagement session!

Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Amanda Stout {December 1, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/12/mrandmrsstout Michael and Amanda had a beautiful December wedding! They picked a perfect location for their wedding. Their ceremony and reception took place at the Mavris Arts and Event Center in downtown Indianapolis. This was my second time shooting a wedding there and I just love it! It is such a romantic venue with a beautiful view of the city. I met up with Mandi and her bridesmaids and they all were wearing the cutest robes. Three out of the four of her bridesmaids (including her sister) are expecting! They were having a great time getting their makeup and hair done.

The groomsmen were having a blast as well! Each time I went down to see if they were ready for pictures, they were laughing and enjoying some games in their room.

They reception and ceremony area was decorated beautifully! I loved the idea of giving each guest a Christmas tree ornament to take home after the reception! Amanda hand painted each one! They also had some small pine trees up by their ceremony arbor. The arbor was decorated with beautiful flowers! Their center pieces at the reception had the same flowers and lighted trees in the middle.

Michael and Amanda had such a heartfelt ceremony. They chose to write their own vows and both of them cried and laughed throughout. They also picked to put together a unity cross instead of doing unity candles. After they put the pieces together they spent time laughing and talking. Throughout the whole ceremony the sun was setting giving the outside a bluish glow. It was absolutely gorgeous!

After the ceremony we took pictures of the newly weds and their families. Michael and Mandi decided not to see each other before but we still made sure to get some pictures outside in the dark. I am SO glad we did! The city lights were perfect for pictures!

Their reception was a blast! Their guests enjoyed delicious donuts on a fantastic donut display! There were many laughs and tears during the reception too. Everyone was enjoying the dance floor! What a perfect December wedding it was! December is becoming one of my favorites times of the year for weddings! Enjoy the many many pictures from their wedding day!

I wish you both many many happy years together where ever life decides to take you!

Mr. and Mrs. Rick and Alanna MacCleoud {October 14, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/10/mr-and-mrs-rick-and-alanna-maccleoud-october-14-2017 I know Alanna's sister and brother in law very well. I have known Shanna since college and have been taking their anniversary pictures for years now! I got so excited when Shanna told me her sister needed a photographer! I knew it would be an amazing day!

Rick and Alanna had a beautiful fall wedding on October 14th! They met in Missouri and live there now. Alanna wanted to have a hometown wedding in her hometown of Gas City, Indiana. They had the ceremony at a beautiful old Catholic church called Holy Family Catholic Church. They had their reception at the reception hall right next to the church. I loved how Alanna's family worked hard to decorate everything in beautiful fall flowers!

They enjoyed the day with close family and friends. Alanna had her sister (Shanna) and her two friends from childhood as her bridesmaids. Rick had his family members as his groomsmen. I loved that they had their family be such a big part in their day!

These two had a superhero cake! It was so unique. They talked about by being together they can do anything (like a superhero)! Their guests enjoyed delicious food and cake as they congratulated the new bride and groom! It was such a wonderful wedding day for these two! Here are many pictures from their day! Enjoy!!

Congrats to you two! I'm so happy I got to be apart of your beautiful day!! Enjoy married life and may you share many many happy years together!!

Mr. and Mrs. Josh and Alisia Fleming {October 7, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/10/mr-and-mrs-josh-and-alisia-fleming-october-7-2017  Josh and Alisia had their wedding and reception in Fishers, Indiana at River Glen Country Club. I could go on and on about how beautiful River Glen was for a wedding! It had a long deck that looked out to the grounds which was perfect! We arrived to Alisia and her bridesmaids getting ready. They had beautiful hangers for all the dresses and Alisia's had Mrs. Fleming on it. The light coming in through the window was perfect for pictures. After everyone was ready, Josh and Alisia headed out to the golf course to see each other for the first time. Josh stood in front of the covered bridge on the property while he waited to see his bride. He was in shock when he saw her! I loved this moment!

It was a windy day! The wind kept taking her veil into the wind! We loved it! The wind also blew the ribbons on the flowers too. Who knew windy days could be perfect for pictures!

After that we took more pictures of the two of them (some of my favorites were by the weeping willow). We met up with their whole bridal party for pictures and lot of laughs. The colors they picked for this fall wedding were absolutely gorgeous! I loved how they colors looked on the golf course. There were a few trees in the background that showed some fall color.

Their ceremony took place on the deck of the country club. There were lights on the top of the deck which made for a romantic setting. Josh teared up when he saw his bride walking down the aisle! It was a beautiful moment from their day! I loved that they had both of their fathers speak during the ceremony. After their ceremony they had some time to just enjoy each other before entering the reception. I always love when my couples see each other before the ceremony for this reason. The whole day was about them!

Their reception was a blast! After dinner and the cake cutting, they brought out a bunch of candy for a candy bar! It was a hit for everyone! They reception was a blast! Their family and guests enjoyed drinks and dancing! It was so fun!

What a wonderful day it was and so beautiful! Enjoy many many favorites from their wedding below!

Josh and Alisia I am so thankful I got to share this day with you! It was so beautiful! Congrats to the both of you again and I wish you both many many happy years ahead!

Mr. and Mrs. TJ and Jonelle Zancanaro {September 30, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/10/mr-and-mrs-tj-and-jonelle-zancanaro-september-30-2017 TJ and Jonelle got married on September 30th in downtown Indianapolis. I met up with Jonelle and her bridesmaids 31 floors up in the JW Marriott. If you haven't been in the JW Marriott Hotel...you need to! It has some of the most breathtaking views of Indianapolis! Jo and her gals had on fun robes! It made for some cute getting ready pictures! They were having a wonderful time!

I headed over to their venue to capture a few pictures of the guys getting ready. Their venue was so unique and amazing! Gallery Forty-Two is close to the circle and is an art gallery. This venue fit TJ and Jonelle's personalities and their day perfectly! TJ and his father were finishing up putting on their jackets. Jo and TJ's dog got to be in some of their getting ready pictures and a couple of others! I loved it! They decided to see each other before the ceremony. TJ stood up on the balcony to see his bride for the first time. It was such a wonderful moment! We took pictures of the two of them and their bridal party before heading on the trolley to the ceremony.

The ceremony took place at North Central Church of Christ. Their ceremony was so sweet. I saw many family members and friends shedding a few tears throughout. They left the church to their guests blowing bubbles (my favorite!). After pictures, we were back on the trolley heading to the reception! Their bridal party was having a blast! It was so much fun!

We sent everyone inside so we could capture a few more of the bride and groom in front of the venue. These were some of my favorites of the whole day! When they entered the venue, they danced! Their guests (and me haha) LOVED it! What a wonderful day it was! Enjoy some favorites below!! And congrats again to Mr. and Mrs. Zancanaro!

Congrats to you two! I wish you many many happy years together!

I died when they showed up with their new puppy, Murray! We decided to go to Potter's Bridge in Noblesville for these. As many of you know, Noblesville's Potter's Bridge is by far my favorite spot to shoot at. You can see why in these pictures! Beautiful and especially in fall!

I am SO excited to capture these two at their wedding on Saturday the 7th at River Glen Country Club in Fishers! I know the day will be so beautiful and sweet! Enjoy some...okay quite a few favorites from their engagement session last October!

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Blair Willis {August 26, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/9/mr-and-mrs-samuel-and-blair-willis-august-26-2017 Samuel and Blair had an intimate wedding at Traders Point Creamery in Zionsville. The farm was absolutely beautiful! They had the ceremony on the beach down by the pond. When the music came on for Blair to walk down the aisle, Samuel couldn't hold back tears. When Blair saw him, she also couldn't hold back her tears. It was so sweet. You could just tell how much these two love each other!

After their ceremony their guests headed up to the red barn for cocktail hour. If you know anything about Traders Point Creamery, you know their food is amazing! They went all out on their cheese and fruit plate for cocktail hour! I added quite a few pictures just of the food. It was definitely worth sharing!

After cocktail hour, everyone went up to dinner in the Roost. It was set up so beautifully! I loved how the deck looked out to the whole farm. Everyone enjoyed a delicious sit down dinner. You could tell everyone was having a wonderful time! The guests all enjoyed a little dancing in the red barn until it was time to send off the bride and groom. It was such a great evening! Congrats to these two again and enjoy some favorites from the evening!

Congrats again to you two! I wish you many many happy years together!

Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah and Emily Douglass {August 12, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/8/mr-and-mrs-isaiah-and-emily-douglass-august-12-2017 When you think of August you typically think of the weather being hot. Isaiah and Emily's wedding was in the 70s and absolutely beautiful! They could not have had a better day for their outside wedding at the Indiana State Museum downtown Indianapolis. I met up with Emily and her gals at Hair Around the Square. It was such a cute little place! They were enjoying their time with mimosas and talking about the day ahead. Emily picked beautiful jewelry to wear for the day that matched her fabulous gold shoes.

I headed to the museum to capture the groom and groomsmen getting ready. We took some pictures outside around the canal. I couldn't help but take so many pictures of their reception area. The room with the Indiana statue is just perfect! Emily did a wonderful job deciding on their center pieces. She wanted to use her aunt's books on the tables in her memory. It was a wonderful way to have her there and it was so beautiful. Emily got ready upstairs overlooking the venue. Her dress was just stunning!! She looked so beautiful in it!

They decided to have their ceremony at the top of the stairs overlooking the city and the canal. It was perfect! After the ceremony we took pictures outside around the ceremony area. The way Isaiah looked at his new bride was just so sweet. My favorite pictures of the day had to be of the two of them on the stairs overlooking the city!

They entered their reception to claps and cheers. They headed right over to cut into their gorgeous cake! When the DJ called for all married couples to come to the dance floor for the anniversary dance, there were few people still sitting. It had to be the biggest anniversary dance I have ever seen!

It was such a wonderful day and I am so happy I got to capture these pictures for them! Enjoy looking through some favorites from their wedding day!

Congrats again to you both and many many happy years together!

Isaiah and Emily Engagement {November 12, 2016} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/8/isaiah-and-emily-engagement-november-12-2016 I will always remember meeting with Isaiah and Emily for the first time. We sat down a local coffee shop and started talking about their wedding day. Emily was referred to me by an old high school friend of mine. Emily said they came to the meeting planning on booking me but she wanted to see if our personalities went well together. They of course did! Next thing you know we were meeting at their future ceremony and reception site to take engagement pictures! The fall leaves were still beautiful even though it was the middle of November! Emily had an adorable idea for a photo so we headed over to the Indianapolis Public Library to capture her standing on some books to reach Isaiah's height. It was so cute!

Isaiah and Emily are getting married at the Indiana State Museum this Saturday, August 12th! I have always wanted to capture a wedding there and I have a wonderful couple to capture! I canNOT wait! Enjoy some favorites from their engagement session and watch for their blog post from their wedding day!

Mr. and Mrs. Trevor and Delaney Hagan {June 24, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/7/mr-and-mrs-trevor-and-delaney-hagan-june-24-2017 Okay, this blog post is probably one of my longest ones to date. You are about to see why with all these gorgeous pictures! They also have waited a little longer on this post so I wanted to pack it full of the best pictures! It was a beautiful June day for their wedding! Typically in Indiana, June can be very hot. On their day of the wedding it never went over 75 degrees! It was perfect for an outdoor wedding.

Delaney is friends with my good friend and second shooter, Elizabeth Simmons (you will see her in the bridal party). They met in the radiology program and both graduated from IU Kokomo back in May. Elizabeth told Delaney all about my photography. I met with Delaney and her mother shortly after. I felt like I already knew Delaney as soon as I met her. I knew it was going to be so much fun capturing her wedding day!

Trevor made the perfect arbor for the ceremony. It was gorgeous! When Delaney walked across the bridge with her father her veil flew to the side in the wind. It was a beautiful moment as she walked toward her groom. The kiss at the end was perfect.

After they cut the cake, these two made sure the cake went all over each other's faces! It was so funny! I loved capturing all the first dances after the cake cutting. These two can throw a party! Their guests danced and danced and danced! It was a blast for everyone! At the end of the night they left the reception to their guests holding sparklers. It was so fun!

Enjoy all these pictures...they say more than my words ever could! Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Hagan!

I wish you both many many more years of happiness together and with your sweet pup!

Trevor and Delaney Engagement {November 5, 2016} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/6/trevor-and-delaney-engagement-november-5-2016 Trevor and Delaney are getting married tomorrow (June 24th) at O-Ace-Is right outside of Kokomo. It is a beautiful venue and I can't wait to share about their wedding day!

These two had such a beautiful fall engagement session back in early November. The weather was perfect outside! They brought their adorable puppy (Howie) along for the session. He was a blast and posed nicely for pictures too haha! It made me excited for fall weather looking back through these (not hurrying summer along though)! I had trouble picking just a few from their session because I loved them all! Enjoy!

Watch for a blog post from their wedding day!

Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and Meghan Knuckles {June 3, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/6/mr-and-mrs-ryan-and-meghan-knuckles-june-3-2017 Ryan and Meghan had such a beautiful June wedding! The sun was shining the whole day and the sky was bright blue with big white clouds! They picked Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville because Ryan has a history with the grounds. The golf club is out in the country. It is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Indiana I have decided! The club house went with their rustic theme!

When I got inside Meghan had on the cutest white robe that said Mrs. Knuckles on the back of it (you will see a few pictures of it in the blog). She was enjoying getting her hair and makeup done with her bridesmaids. The guys were getting ready in the locker room across from the ladies. After they got ready we headed out to the golf course to take some fun pictures!

Meghan had a surprise from Ryan. He wrote her a note on the bottom of her shoe. It was so sweet! Once she got her shoes on, she started getting into her wedding dress. Her mom and sister were there helping but at one point all the bridesmaids were helping too! Everyone was laughing and having a good time helping her! Meghan picked such a gorgeous wedding dress! It had jewels and lace all over it and she looked stunning in it! Many tears were shed when Meghan saw her Dad for the first time in her dress.

Their ceremony took place across the lake on the golf course. It would have been a long walk so golf carts were used to transport their guests out to the ceremony site. A golf cart drove Meghan out there too but they covered the cart with a sheet so Ryan couldn't see her until she walked down the aisle. Ryan and Meghan are such a fun loving couple! There were many laughs throughout the day and during the ceremony. After they were announced as husband and wife we took pictures on the golf course. The ones on the golf cart are some of my favorites of the two of them! The reception was a blast! Their guests danced a ton! Enjoy many many pictures from their day. Once again I had to cut myself off from all the pictures I wanted to share!

I hope the two of you are enjoying that honeymoon! I am so glad I got to be apart of your day! You two are such a sweet couple and I wish you many many happy years together!

Mr. and Mrs. Kyle and Katie Teague {June 2, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/6/mr-and-mrs-kyle-and-katie-teague-june-2-2017 I showed up to start taking pictures of Katie and her bridesmaids getting ready. I have been in the JW Marriott hotel in downtown Indianapolis but never 24 floors up. It was a breathtaking view of the city! As soon as I saw those windows I knew Katie's dress had to hang there somehow! We made it happen. Katie got in her wedding dress and it fit her beautifully!

Kyle made his way across the street from the hotel in front of Victory Field to wait to see Katie. I was so happy these two decided to do a first look. What an amazing one it was! Kyle grinned ear to ear when he saw her! The bridal party joined them shortly after for pictures. They all were having a blast!

Kyle and Katie's ceremony was at St. Mary's Catholic Church off of New Jersey Street in downtown Indianapolis. It was a beautiful old church with gorgeous tall ceilings and stained glass windows. It was a perfect place for their ceremony. Katie wore a long laced veil for her walk down the aisle. After the ceremony they went outside to a send-off of bubbles!

I have been to a lot of venues. I now have to say that the Biltwell Event Center is now one of my favorites! This room was huge! It was lined with windows and on one side it looked out to Lucas Oil Stadium. Their food was AMAZING! There was a buffet that included spaghetti, pulled pork, hamburgers, and chicken! The toasts to the bride and groom had everyone laughing. I loved hearing the story about Kyle and Katie's first date. The guests enjoyed cake and danced the night away. What a perfect evening spent in downtown Indianapolis! There are SO many amazing pictures to pick from but here are some of my favorites! Enjoy!!

I hope you two are enjoying the rest of your honeymoon and I wish you many amazing years together!

Ryan and Meghan Engagement Session (July 10, 2016) https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/6/ryan-and-meghan-engagement-session-july-10-2016 I met up with Ryan and Meghan near Fort Benjamin Harrison Park. We were laughing because I rode with them into the park and we were talking about how scary that could have been if we hadn't already met haha. I loved this park and I loved that they had so many areas they wanted to get pictures at. The sunlight was just beautiful at the end of their session!

They are getting married tomorrow! Their ceremony and reception is being held at Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville. It is such a beautiful golf course! I can't wait to capture their day! Enjoy some favorites from their engagement session back in July!

Seriously how adorable are those scrabble letters with the ring!? That was all Meghan's idea! I loved it!

Watch for a blog post about their wedding day sometime next week!!

Kyle and Katie Engagement Session (February 4, 2017) https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/6/kyle-and-katie-engagement-session-february-4-2017 Kyle and Katie decided to do a winter engagement session. Indiana has had some snow free winters lately so we decided to go ahead and take pictures without snow. The session was wonderful! These two wanted to do their engagement pictures downtown Noblesville because they love it. They braved the cold and we had a great time!

Tomorrow these two will be tying the knot in downtown Indianapolis! Their ceremony will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church off of New Jersey Street. The reception will be held at Biltwell Event Center! I can't wait to capture their wedding day at such beautiful and new locations!

Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!

Look for a blog post from their wedding day next week!

Mr. and Mrs. Phoenix and Lauren Badua {May 27, 2017} https://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/6/mr-and-mrs-phoenix-and-lauren-badua-may-27-2017 What a way to start out the Memorial Day weekend! Phoenix and Lauren had an amazing wedding with beautiful weather! I met up with Lauren at her parents' house in Noblesville. Lauren and her bridesmaids were ready with their hair and make-up on. They had on the cutest matching robes. We took some pictures of them hanging out at the house together. It was so fun!

Let me say...Mustard Seed Gardens is one of my favorite venues. It sits off of 32 in Noblesville and features an old red barn and house. Everything about the grounds is perfect! Lauren showed me a picture of her dress back in October. I knew it was going to be stunning but it was even better in person. Her dress was perfect for her! Her flowers were peonies and they were beautiful!

Phoenix and Lauren decided not to see each other before their ceremony. Phoenix couldn't hold back his tears when he saw her walking down the aisle. Their family members couldn't hold back tears either (including myself and my second shooter)! It was such a beautiful moment.

After the ceremony the guests headed over to cocktail hour while we took pictures. When they entered the barn, everyone cheered! Their reception was full of dancing and fun! Their photo booth was amazing too! These pictures share so much more than my words can say so ENJOY!!
